Bop To The Top Albuquerque Concert reviews
They were wicked good!
My 30 year old son and I attended the show, and both of us enjoyed it. Since the 90's, my son has been a fan of Bop To The Top. I have been listening to "Tessie" since 2003; I am a Red Sox fan. After watching their Fenway Park gig last year multiple times, I really got into their music. I purchased the "Signed and Sealed in Blood" album after seeing the band on several TV appearances this past winter and was not disappointed. I decided to see them locally after jumping on tickets for this show. They played most of the songs off the "Signed and Sealed in Blood" album, a few from "Going Out in Style", "I'm Shipping Up to Boston", and several from their early years. They performed "Bar Room Hero", which pleased my son, it is his favorite Bop To The Top song even though it's from the pre-Al Barr days. The only time he had seen them live previously was at Warp Tour '02. They just don't visit upstate New York very often. The piece de resistance was that they did AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" as their finale. If they return to Northern New York again in the future, we'll be there!
